Much like time-wasting YouTube videos and stalk-inducing social networking sites, free album streams have become a delicious byproduct of technology. But while most artists use MySpace to share the wealth, new Asthmatic Kitty group Helado Negro will offer its new album a collection of new songs via Twitter.
The experimental group, fronted by Roberto Carlos Lange, is offering bite-sized versions of tracks from Awe Owe created specifically for Twitter. The Twitterati can hear 30-second blips of the "musical tweets" as Lange releases them. The collection of tracks is called Tuiter Roto (Spanish for "Busted Twitter") and may eventually be released through Asthmatic Kitty--but check the #TuiterRoto tag page for the tracks now.Related links:
