Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 Finally Gets Release Date

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Jigga Man had disappeared for the last few months; nary a tour date or eight-bar could be heard from the C-E-O of the R-O-C. Sure, that teaser for "Jockin Jay-Z" was awesome, but when your upcoming album has a nigh-unprecedented level of hype, your audiences need some red meat. Rest easy, true believers, because the long night of doubt is over: Blueprint 3 has a confirmed street date of Sept. 11, Billboard reports.

Granted, the street date is pretty much the only bit of info we have at this point, other than that the album will be released on Jay-Z's own Roc Nation label. Not to mention that releases dates are prone to change, especially in hip-hop. No word on the album from the man himself yet, but an announcement is expected at this Sunday's Hot 97 Summer Jam concert at Giant's Stadium.

Now, how about a single worthy of ad-nauseum replays on the radio to get us through the summer, Hova? You got an "A Milli" in you, big guy?
