Jean-Luc Godard, the legendary French auteur, may adapt the 2006 Holocaust bestseller The Lost: A Search for Six of Six Million as his next film, according to THR.
The book, by Daniel Mendelsohn, is a personal non-fiction narrative that
follows the author’s journey to discover the exact fates of family
members who he had only been told were “killed by Nazis” by other
surviving relatives.
Godard, perhaps the most influential filmmaker alive, also has the
political film Socalisme on the way, due sometime in the next year or two.
