Natalie Portman has stuffed another movie into her elastic queue, Your Highness, a comedy about an indolent prince (Danny McBride), his brother (James Franco) and their efforts save their imperiled kingdom.
Portman will play the “warrior princess” love interest of the lazy
prince, according to Variety. David Gordon Green has long been attached
to direct the movie, which is expected to shoot this summer.
Your Highness will be the second studio comedy by Green, the Southern auteur who had become one of the most talked-about American
indie filmmakers until he crossed over to Hollywood for Pineapple
Express last year. Your Highness is co-written by McBride and Ben Best,
longtime associates of Green's.
