The Raveonettes Release Demos From Upcoming Album

Fans of noise-pop duo The Raveonettes who are anxious to hear more details about the twosome's upcoming album can relax a little. The pair has already posted two demos from the record, and superfans will be able to get more in the coming weeks.

Earlier this week, the Danish duo announced that they were starting the process of posting demos bit-by-bit. They started off with "Last Dance" and recently released "Boys Who Rape" for e-mail subscribers. To hear the rest of the demos, fans can sign up to receive e-mail updates.

The album is said to infuse both Hawaiian and metal influences, according to frontman Sune Rose Wagner. "It looks to be more diverse than the previous albums with everything from punk, noise, metal, pop, Hawaiian and dark synth being the main influences…I’m totally fucking excited!" he said on the Raveonettes' Myspace blog.

Slated for a September release, the album marks the first release for the duo since 2008's nearly homemade Lust Lust Lust

For more album updates, be sure to check out the band's Twitter feed as they continue to post more demos in the coming weeks.
