NPR Streams Björk's Voltaic Box Set

Iceland isn't a monarchy, but they have a queen nonetheless. Two years after the well-received release of Volta, Björk will release a new box set. Voltaic hits shelves tomorrow (June 30), but if you aren't ready to throw down the cash, you can check out the music online, thanks to NPR.

The box set includes tracks from 2007's Volta, as well as re-recorded tracks from Medulla, Homogenic, Post, and Vespertine. Voltaic also comes with cool extras, like vinyl LPs, remixes and concert footage from the Volta tour, all available in mix-and-match packages. Luckily for us, NPR has the entire album on their site for free streaming. But don't get too carried away, cheapskates: The best way to snag all that Björk swag is by coughing up the cash on the Nonesuch website or at your local, independent record store.
