Three Dallas Cowboys To Release Metal Album

From the Super Bowl Shuffle to Shaq-Fu, professional athletes have a long and torrid history of musical dabbling. The latest involves three lineman for the Dallas Cowboys who have signed a recording contract as heavy metal band Free Reign. Fellas, has Deion Sanders taught you nothing?

The group is comprised of Cowboy linemen Marc Colombo (guitar/vocals), Cory Procter (drums), two-time Pro Bowler Leonard Davis (bass) and Justin Chapman (lead guitar). As the photo above depicts, these are some big boys. With each of the three players weighing over 300 pounds, the band bills themselves as "heavier than metal." Get it?

The group has signed to Australia's Riot Entertainment and their debut album will drop in the fall. Riot also hosts the musical talent of Fozzy, which features the WWE's Chris Jericho.
