Wild Light Sets Summer Tour Dates with Wallflowers

It'd be reasonable to assume that Wild Light would lean on its buddy-buddy relationship with Win Butler of Arcade Fire fame (frontman Jordan Alexander and Butler were prep-school roommies) to carve out a decent niche for themselves. The New Hampshire four-piece prefers to stand on its own, though, and they're doing a damn decent job of it.

The band garnered high praise for their debut album Adult Nights and accompanying tour with Tapes N Tapes, which secured them a spot on The Killers most recent tour as the main supporting act. They must love the smell of asphalt, because they're at it again: Wild Light has just announced dates for a summer tour with Brooklynites stellastarr*, as well as some select shows with the Wallflowers:
