Andrew W.K. to Help Kids Blow Things Up With Destroy, Build, Destroy

Andrew W.K. to Help Kids Blow Things Up With Destroy, Build, Destroy

A television show solely focused on explosions is something we can all get behind. But is there anything more awesome or appropriate than letting ferocious musician and professional partier Andrew W.K. host the show? The answer is no, so ready your TiVos: Destroy, Build, Destroy is coming to a Cartoon Network near you.

Andrew W.K. has always been a leaps-and-bounds kind of guy. He started out playing classical piano, and within several years made the jump to Detroit metal and punk bands like the Pterodactyls. He probably began his well-honed craft of Partying shortly after exiting the womb. And now he’s making the jump from his last television appearance on a reality show (Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List, no less) to helping kids blow stuff up on TV.

The show will feature teams of kids using heavy ammunition to blow up old machinery. Nothing like a show that arms children with rocket launchers. Andrew W.K. then shows the kids how to build something better from the ashes (if there are any left). The trailer alone will make you feel ‘roided up and ready to annihilate, with plenty of Michael Bay-sized explosions and W.K.’s…enthusiasm.

Destroy, Build, Destroy will hit Cartoon Network like a Molotov cocktail this summer. Check out the trailer below:
