Austin City Limits 2009 Schedule Announced

Bring on the heat, bring on the music, bring on the stage shuffling! Austin City Limits' annual festival will take place Oct. 2-4 this year, and the festival's website recently posted the weekend's schedule.The interactive site allows concert attendees to craft their own personal schedule, so as not to miss out on any of the over 100 artists slated to grace the eight ACL stages.

The mind-numbing line-up features The Low Anthem, The Avett Brothers, The Walkmen, Dr. Dog, The Greencards, John Legend, Lily Allen and Andrew Bird. And that's just a portion of Friday, folks. Highlights from the rest of the weekend include Bell X1, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, John Vanderslice, STS9, Devotchka and The Decemberists on Saturday, and The Dodos, Lisa Hannigan, Passion Pit, Girl Talk and Sonic Youth on Sunday. Headliners Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews Band and Pearl Jam will close each night on the main stage, ushering in the relief of an Austin sunset.
