Cheap Trick's Latest Available on 8-Track

Cheap Trick has a new album titled (aptly, though not especially creatively) The Latest. It has been available as a digital download since last month, and it was made available on CD and vinyl this month. But the group, ever seeking approval, decided to give its fans one more option. The band has also made a limited-edition 8-track version of The Latest available for purchase.

Contrary to popular belief, the 8-track format isn't quite dead, but it certainly isn't wildly popular in today's digital age. Despite its relative lack of popularity, the 8-track version of The Latest is also the priciest, and by a considerable amount. It's going for $30, while the digital download is available for a mere $8.99 (the CD and LP are selling for $12.99 and $20, respectively). But is that really such a steep price for a solid dose of nostalgia?
