Jay-Z Joins All Points West Line-up, Works MGMT Onto The Blueprint 3

When we first heard who was slated to take the stage at this year's All Points West Festival, we were pretty impressed. But when we heard that Jay-Z would be filling in for the Beastie Boys after the trio was forced to cancel all its tour dates, we got even more excited. No offense to the inimitable Beasties, of course, but the addition of Jay-Z is especially awesome considering the rapper has never played a U.S. festival before.

Meanwhile, Reuters recently announced that fellow All Points West act MGMT will make an appearance on Hova's upcoming Blueprint 3. As far as we're concerned, there is no better time or place to give us the first look at the collaboration than at Jay's first-ever festival date in the States. Festival-goers, cross your fingers that the pair decides to team up on-stage, because we're pretty intrigued about what's in store.
