Kanye Louis Vuitton Shoes Now Available for Purchase

In typical press-ready fashion, Kanye West teasingly flaunted his tomato-red, self-designed kicks at Paris Fashion Week this past January, months before the shoes would be available for purchase. The time has come, however, for the pricey pairs' release in collaboration with Louis Vuitton.

The unabashedly expensive fashion taste of West combined with the top-rung luxury of Louis Vuitton produced a full line of shoes made of leather, suede and other undoubtedly slick materials. Not surprisingly, these elements are reflected in the prices, which start at about $800 a pair and can cost as much as $1,140.

Check out the detail images of the sneaks here, and deliberate on how much input LV creative director Marc Jacobs potentially had in the designs, which range from boat shoes with a twist to velcro-laden high-tops.
