Malajube Eyes Polaris Prize, Short U.S. Tour

Malajube is quickly assuming the throne of Montréalian band of note. (Sorry, Arcade Fire, that's what you get for disappearing for two and a half years.) Their stellar third album Labyrinthes has just earned the band their second nomination for the Polaris Music Prize (the only french-language album on the shortlist, to boot), and is being prepped for worldwide release on July 21 via Dare to Care Records.

Naturally, a worldwide album release means a worldwide tour, but before they go globetrotting, Malajube will be returning to the U.S. for the first time in quite a while for a couple shows in the Northeast:

July
21 - New York, N.Y. @ Mercury Lounge
22 - Hoboken, N.J. @ Maxwell's
23 - Philadelphia, Pa. @ M Room
24 - Brooklyn, N.Y. @ Littlefield
25 - Portland, Maine @ Space
