Barack Obama's Inauguration Inspires Richard Linklater's Romantic Comedy

It's a Barack Romantic Obamedy! Phew, sorry, but certainly some snazzy nickname will arise for Richard Linklater's upcoming romantic comedy, set at President Barack Obama's historic inauguration earlier this year.

Director Linklater (School of Rock, Dazed and Confused) is in talks with Miramax Films to begin work on Liars (A-E), for which Emma Forrest wrote the script. The plot follows a woman on her way to President Obama's inauguration, as she collects old posessions from her ex-boyfriends. She is accompanied by her best friend, who will be played by Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist).
