The Pitchfork Festival, held in Chicago’s Union Park, opens with “Write the Night: Set Lists by Request”—four shows with set lists picked by ticket holders: Built to Spill, the recently-reunited Jesus Lizard, Yo La Tengo and Tortoise. Also, by providing free bike parking and 80 recycling bins on the grounds, P4K ’09 organizers are encouraging fans to go green.
