Placebo Announces Fall Tour Dates

Promoting their latest release, Battle for the Sun, Placebo is now likely to stir up a battle for the tickets as they announce their U.S. and Canada tour dates.

With a new drummer in tow (Steve Forrest replaced longtime drummer Steve Hewitt in 2007) and a new sound in mind (frontman Brian Molko has said their latest is not hard rock, not pop, but "hard pop"), the UK-based Placebo is taking on North America beginning Sept. 12, right when summer's gone.
