The Raveonettes are Coming to Town

Get out your leis and aloha shirts, because The Raveonettes are hitting the road. The Danish duo have announced dates in support of their upcoming release from Vice Records, which is said to channel Hawaiian and metal into their noisy sound.

The duo will appear at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Festival before hitting the road October 14-26 with The Black Angels and November 5-15 with an unspecified guest.

In June, the band allowed fans to listen to three demos (which included "Last Dance," "Boys Who Rape" and "In and Out of Control") from the upcoming album through Twitter. The new album, titled In And Out Of Control, will be available Oct. 6 and was produced by Thomas Troelsen.
