Trailer Released for Big Fan, Starring Patton Oswalt

Former Onion editor Robert D. Siegel, who made his narrative screenplay debut with last year's The Wrestler, has jumped into the director's chair for the upcoming Big Fan. The film stars Patton Oswalt as an obsessive New York Giants fan, and it's a weirdly dark turn for one of our favorite funnymen.

Oswalt plays Paul Aufiero, a Staten Island parking garage attendant who still lives with his mother and whose life is consumed by his beloved Giants—but things get ugly after Aufiero has a violent run-in with his favorite player, Quantrell Bishop (Jonathan Hamm). The drama is set for an Aug. 28 release.
