The generation gap has never seemed so big—yet so small—as it does in Breakfast at Sulimay's. The online series from Woodshop Films, which features three elderly people reviewing indie and pop music over eggs and coffee at a Pennsylvania diner, garnered quite the following with its first several episodes. Lucky for us, the series is back for another run.
In the new season, Bill is still laid-back, Ann is still abrasive (sporting a new look, with pink streaks in her hair), sweet Joe is still referencing World War II whenever he can, and frank opinions still abound. We get to see Joe sit down for an interview with the Fiery Furnaces, and if his brief singing stint and gushing about lobster rolls is any indication of what he's capable of, these interviews need to be a permanent addition to the Sulimay's line-up. Keep checking back on YouTube and Scrapple.tv for new episodes, because you just never know what to expect with these guys.
