For a festival only in its second year, Outside Lands’ bill features some impressive names and one of the summer’s most unique lineups : Big-ticket acts like Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam and the Beastie Boys are balanced by the crooning of Tom Jones, the hilarious absurdity of Ween, old-school Brazilian psych-rockers Os Mutantes and Irish songstress Lisa Hannigan. The three-day fest takes place in the iconic Golden Gate Park, with a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales supporting San Francisco’s Recreation and Parks Department.
