After a fall from the catwalk at a South Dakota concert resulted in a serious injury for Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, the band has postponed the Canadian leg of this month's tour. According to Ticketmaster.ca, shows in Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver will be on hold until further notice.
Tyler was performing at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D. when the accident occurred, and was rushed by helicopter to the hospital. "He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter," a spokesman for the venue told the Associated Press. "He was talking and joking with the physician."
The band is still unsure whether or not the tour, which had Aerosmith on the road through mid-September, will continue as planned.
