For 10 years, Chuck Eddy was the music editor at The Village Voice,
commenting on everything from hip-hop to country. Although he's no longer on the editorial staff at the Voice
he is still writing, sometimes for his former publication, but also for Spin
. Most notably, the critic, 48, is preparing an anthology of some of the best of his work.
The book will include some of his most influential essays, including a review of Aerosmith's Done With Mirrors that is credited as the inspiration for the group's collaboration with Run-D.M.C., as well as the first national interview with The Flaming Lips.
