Devendra Banhart Signs with Warner for New Album

Devendra Banhart has just announced the release of his newest album, What We Will Be, will, um, be on Warner Brothers. Having previously released records on Young God and XL, this will be Banhart's first major-label offering.

Banhart, who has one of the coolest musician websites going, recruited a handful of friends and musicians for his backing band, including Little Joy's Rodrigo Amarante, Megapuss' Greg Rogove, Luckey Remington and Noah Georgeson.

What We Will Be does not yet have a release date.
