Jason Segel has signed up to join Jonah Hill and Jason Schwartzman in The Adventurer’s Handbook, a comedy about (what else?) a group of disaffected guys who go on a world-spanning journey based on the titular tome.
According to THR, Segel will play an unsuccessful musician to Hill’s bored engineer and Schwartzman’s spoiled, sheltered Grammy winner. The movie, to be directed by Saturday Night Live alum Akiva Schaffer, is expected to start production early next year.In addition to a fifth season of How I Met Your Mother, Segel will next star opposite Jack Black and Emily Blunt in Gulliver’s Travels.
