Outside Lands Becomes First Festival Streamed Live on YouTube

Music fans without transportation to Golden Gate Park's Outside Lands this weekend need not wallow in envy. Instead, they can watch the concert live on their computer screens.

YouTube will stream live all three days of the festival, Aug. 28-30, in the site's first-ever music festival webcast. "Music and many of the artists performing at Outside Lands have always found a home and audience on YouTube," said YouTube's Ross Hoffman in a statement. "We're thrilled to bring this incredible live music festival to everyone in our community who won't be there in person to experience the show."

As announced in April
, such artists include Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews Band and M.I.A. Tickets and three-day passes are still available for purchase though Outside Lands' official website.
