Peter Bjorn and John Ready Free Hip-Hop Mixtape

Kanye West's remix of Peter Bjorn and John's "Young Folks" set a high water mark for the small (but growing) realm of hip-hoppers sampling indie acts. And if just one PB&J remix was enough to make music junkies scramble for their "reblog" buttons, then howzabout a whole album of them? As we just learned from MTV, mixtape maven Mick Boogie will be orchestrating the release of Re-Living Things, a hip-hop remix mixtape (remixtape?) of PB&J's Living Things.

And to nobody's surprise, it looks like it's going to be awesome. Confirmed guests so far include Wu-Tang's GZA, Bun B, Amanda Blank, Talib Kweli, Three 6 Mafia and Wale. Here's a rundown of the tentative tracklist, and keep in mind that more tracks and artists have yet to be announced:

1. The Feeling (feat. J. Cole & GZA) (remixed by Marco Polo)
2. It Just Don't Move Me (feat. Kardinal Offishall, Donnis & Heno) (remixed by Jet Audio)
3. Just the Past (feat. Big Sean & Black Milk) (remixed by nVMe)
4. Nothing to Worry About (feat. Wale, Young Chris & Rhymefest) (remixed by the Kickdrums)
5. Losing My Mind (feat. Bun B) (remixed by 6th Sense)
6. Living Thing (feat. Freebass 808 & Amanda Blank) (remixed by Apple Juice Kid)
7. I Want You (feat. Talib Kweli) (remixed by William Russell / Good Life Mike)
8. Lay it Down (feat. Three 6 Mafia & Trouble Andrew) (remixed by the Kickdrums)
9. Stay This Way (feat. Big Pooh, Chaundon & Phil Nash) (remixed by Jazzy Jeff)
10. Blue Period Picasso (feat. Naledge & Mickey Factz) (remixed by nVMe)
11. 4 Out of 5 (feat. 88 Keys, Outasight & 6th Sense) (remixed by 6th Sense)
12. Last Night (feat. U-N-I) (remixed by Remot)

Take a listen to the (particularly excellent) Wale-flavored remix of "Nothing to Worry About" hereRe-Living Thing drops Aug. 27 (for Free Ninety-Nine!) on an Internet near you.
