The way Jack White jumps from group to group to group (to group), we were beginning to think that dude couldn't stand to be by himself, even after those rumors of a solo album. But alas, there may be an ounce of truth to those rumblings after all. On Aug. 11, White's record label, Third Man Records, will release a second batch of 45s (the first came back in July), including one track of White singing all by his lonesome.
He wrote the song "Fly Farm Blues" on the spot and at the request of It Might Get Loud director Davis Guggenheim while they were working on the documentary on Fly Farm. White produced this track, as well as the other two singles that will be available on the 11th: “Bohemian Grove”/“Atheist Funeral” by Dan Sartain and "C’mon and Ride”/“Afterparty”) by Transit.
