Thomas Function Announces New Album and Tour, Debuts "Belly of the Beast" MP3

After releasing a ridiculously infectious debut album, the aptly-titled Celebration, and wowing at least one web editor at SXSW 2009, Thomas Function have been steadily working to ready the release of their much anticipated followup LP, In the Valley of Sickness. The band stayed mostly under the radar during the summer months, only to re-emerge in the waning days of August with fresh news about the new album and a fall tour.

In the Valley of Sickness has just been confirmed for an Oct. 13 release, and you can take a listen to (or download) album track "Belly of the Beast" right here. As the band gears up for the new release, the young Alabamans will be trekking across the U.S. for a cross-country tour.
