Beach House Sign to Sub Pop, Slate New Release Date

Former Band of the Week Beach House is now officially signed to Sub Pop, joining an already impressive roster of talent.

With the announcement, Sub Pop also revealed that Beach House's first release through the label will come in early 2010. To create this follow-up of last year's Devotion, the duo of lo-fi ambience took a month-long break from touring to write songs in a church, then record in a Woodstock studio.

Beach House is also set to begin a U.S. tour this month.
