Bishop Allen Announces Film Screening, North American Tour
Two years may have passed since Bishop Allen first told listeners to "take another picture with your click-click-click-click-camera," but its sophomore release Grrr... gave no reason for them to stop. And so the indie-pop group marches on, now with its sights set on a film screening in New York and a fall tour in North America.
The film is called Harmony and Me, and stars the band's Justin Rice as an office employee-turned-songwriter once his friends can no longer bear to hear about his break-up. The Museum of Modern Art began screening the film on Friday, and will continue to do so until Thursday, Sept. 24.
The tour begins in Cambridge, Mass., before it sweeps through Canada and the west coast. It ends back with a performance at The Bell House in Brooklyn.
