Bob Dylan, he of occasional faith, announced recently that he'd be releasing a holiday album, Christmas in the Heart, on Oct. 13. And like the best of Christmas miracles, the record will benefit those less fortunate, as proceeds will be donated to Feeding America. But unlike most Christmas miracles, Bob Dylan's 47th album will shine its light on special members of Citibank before the rest of us.
In a move unforeseen by the throngs of Dylan faithful, Bob has paired with the banking giant for a special promotional deal. While most folks attempt being good boys and girls so Christmas in the Heart arrives in their stockings on Oct. 13, Citibank's 13 million customers involved in the conglomerate's rewards program will be able to download the album a week early.Said rewards program centers around customers amassing points by frequent use of credit or debit cards. In other words, if you swipe your Citibank card enough, a new Dylan album you shall receive.

Would the Bob Dylan of a few decades back have allowed this to happen? ICK!
Allow what to happen? To donate millions of dollars to charity (according to the terms of the deal it will cover worldwide revenue from now into the future)? I would certainly hope so!
You should be praising him and this kind of a deal should only give the album more exposure.
Good on Bob!
Bob Dylan always seems to do the totally most opposite thing that's expected for him to do. He's almost (ironically) predicatable that way.
