ABC has purchased pilot rights to Family Business, a new half-hour sitcom written by It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia writers Sonny Lee and Patrick Walsh.
The script is centered on a Midwestern family that runs a grocery business and their flailing attempts to remain afloat through a divorce, according to Variety. No cast has been set yet.
Walsh and Lee remain producers on Philadelphia’s fifth season, which is set to debut Sept. 17 on FX.
