Fresh off his Emmy win
as a Single Ladies troupe member, among other Saturday Night Live
gags, Justin Timberlake may soon tackle cultural commentary in a new realm: social networking. In fact, after more than a year's worth of rumors
reports that Columbia Pictures signed Timberlake in its upcoming Facebook movie The Social Network
Timberlake would play Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who would
become Facebook's founding president. Director David Fincher has also
cast Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, The Squid and the Whale) as founder Mark Zuckerberg and Andrew Garfield (The Other Boleyn Girl) as co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
Production begins next month in Boston before it moves to Los Angeles.
