Neutral Milk Hotel Gets Resurrected on Vinyl

September 25, 2009  |  11:30am
Gone but not forgotten indie rockers Neutral Milk Hotel are doing the next best thing to reforming the band and putting out another LP. Via Merge Records, their masterpieces The Aeroplane Over The Sea and On Avery Island will be reissued on 180-gram vinyl.

The reissues will not include bonus materials, save for a free coupon to download both albums.

NMH records have aged like wine over the years. Fans remain hopeful if only because the band never officially broke up and reunion rumors seem to be constantly swirling about the blogosphere. Meanwhile, did you hear the band is in the carousel-saving business these days?
