The blame game for our continuing lack of an Arrested Development movie continued with an story in the New York Daily News last weekend, with a few choice quotes from Will Arnett.
Arnett is currently at work on a new TV series with longtime Arrested Development writer Mitchell Hurwitz, which he says has stifled any major progress on the movie over the past couple of months. (Amusingly, Arentt’s rep jumped in to insist “they are working on the movie simultaneously.”) Still, Arnett says that early versions of the script are already around, adding that despite scattershot reports one way or the other, everyone in the original cast will return. As he asks, “Why wouldn't they?” He has a point.Related links:

It'll be interesting to see Michael Cera reprise his role since he is itching to drop the boy-ish roles he's known for.
