The Entrance Band, fresh from summer tours with Sonic Youth and Nebula, will continue to tour the U.S. to present what labelmate Thurston Moore called "a soundtrack for the new groove."
The tour, with Brooklyn's Amazing Baby, comes shortly after release of the band's first full-length album through Ecstatic Peace! The self-titled record melds psychedelic elements with heavy-hitting guitar rips, celebrating the full-fledged union that guitarist Guy Blakeslee formed with drummer Derek James and bassist Paz Lenchantin.
Blakeslee had also collaborated with James and Lenchantin to create 2006's Prayer of Death, though he deems it as primarily a solo effort.
