Watch the Trailer for <em>Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day</em>

Whether you’re among the Boondock Saints faithful or (ahem) think the documentary Overnight easily trumps the dubious cult classic that inspired it, it’s a pretty remarkable thing that a sequel ever got made. It’s anyone’s guess if it will catch on the way its predecessor eventually did, but on Oct. 30, the movie will begin to platform nearly a decade after the original debuted.

Now, finally, we have a trailer. Writer-director Troy Duffy’s visual touch does not seem to have become any lighter, nor has his pen (“Let’s do some gratuitous violence!”). Granted, that's no surprise on either front, and hopefully by now the people who will be into this movie know who they are. Let the comically premature speculation for Boondock Saints 3 begin.
