Carla Bruni may work with the iconic director Woody Allen very soon. Although Allen's current co-producer, Mediapro, is offering no official comment on the rumor, Allen had expressed a desire to work with Mrs. Nicolas Sarkozy in an interview with a French radio station when he visited Paris in June, gushing, "I'm sure she would be wonderful."
Bruni has done a little film work in the past. She briefly appeared in Prêt-à-Porter, Robert Altman's 1994 send-up of the fashion world, as well as the 1998 French film Paparazzi. So far her roles have always been "as herself," though it would be interesting to see if she had the chops to tackle a fictional acting role in an upcoming Allen film.
