Andy Samberg will be one of several big names to join orange-clad DJ Lance Rock (Lance Robertson) and his mob of colorful creature friends in Gabba Land this fall.
Yo Gabba Gabba! will premiere its third season on the Nick Jr. network on Oct. 12 with musical guest The Roots. Since its inception in 2007, the kids show (though popular among preschoolers and parents alike) has kept younger minds cultured with the world's more grownup acts. During its first two seasons DJ Lance played host to talents like Jack Black, Tony Hawk, Elijah Wood, The Clientele, Of Montreal and The Shins.
Samberg will be featured with MGMT on the Oct. 13 episode titled "Art," where the Gabba gang will give a lesson in mixing paint colors and Samberg will mentor kiddies in the ways of the "Alligator Chomp" and "Dancey Dance" dances, hopefully without drawing too much from his filthy (and hilarious!) Incredibad material.
Yo Gabba Gabba! is a two-time Emmy Nominee and was voted one of the "Top 10 New TV Series" by Time in 2007.
