Dave Rawlings Machine Cranks Out Debut Album, Fall Tour

After many years spent as Gillian Welch's other musical half, David Rawlings is now a well-rounded frontman of his own band, the Dave Rawlings Machine. The Machine will drop its debut album, Friend of a Friend, on Nov. 17, and will hit the road ten days later.

Rawlings and his new crew—including Welch and Ketch Secor, Willie Watson and Morgan Jahning from frequent-collaborators Old Crow Medicine Show—on cross-country road trip, which naturally includes a couple appearances at The Grand Ole Opry.
