Jack White Directs, Stars in New Dead Weather Video

With writing and recording music as well as acting serving as well-trodden territory for Jack White, it seems the one-man guitarmy has decided he's ready to tackle yet another new medium: directing. The video for Dead Weather's funky "I Cut Like a Buffalo" was directed by White, and it's quite the visual:

Shot with bright, bold colors casting White in a film noir silhouette, the video matches the song's mystery. How does one cut like a buffalo, anyway? Regardless of that answer, White's rarely been so animated—his never-more-round eyes darting inside his head are the highlights of the video, along with belly-dancers parading around screen with a large buffalo head. The video was shot in the Nashville home base of White's Third Man Records.

So is there anything Jack White can't do? How about upholstery? There's no way this guy is that crafty. Oh, wait...
