Jay Farrar and Ben Gibbard Announce Additional Kerouac Dates

Jay Farrar and Ben Gibbard have added a couple more shows and special screenings to the tour backing their collaboration project, One Fast Move Or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur, due out Oct. 20.

Farrar and Gibbard based the album's 12 songs off of Kerouac's 1962 novel, Big Sur. The record release will be paired with a documentary highlighting the author's life, and will coincide with the 40th anniversary of his passing.

The additional shows are on Oct. 22 in Los Angeles, Calif. and Oct. 27 in Washinton, D.C. Screenings of the documentary will take place Oct. 16 in New York, N.Y. and on Oct. 20 in Los Angeles, Calif. with more national showings to follow. For more information about the screenings, click here.
