Watch U2 Live on YouTube This Weekend

If life’s constant hustle and bustle (not to mention that recession thing) has kept you from being one of the millions who have seen U2 during the band’s monstrous 360 Tour, fret not! Bono & Co. have teamed up with YouTube to bring this weekend’s show to your computer screen.

The live broadcast this Sunday will feature U2’s sold-out Rose Bowl concert in Pasadena, Calif. And just like all videos we love to watch on YouTube, it won’t cost a penny. The show is scheduled as U2’s second-to-last of 2009, and is set to draw in 96,000 fans, the biggest audience ever to fill the venue, according to MTV.

“The band has wanted to do something like this for a long time,” said manager Paul McGuinness in a statement. “As we’re filming the L.A. show, it’s the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium. Fans often travel long distances to come to see U2—this time U2 can go to them, globally.”

The band will kick off around 11:30 p.m. EST, and will stream via YouTube to the U.S., England, Canada, France, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Mexico, India, Isreal, South Korea and the Netherlands.

And if you’re still not able to “attend” the live viewing, U2 has you covered. The show will see two full replays on U2.com and YouTube, and will also be available through video-on-demand.
