Signs of a new Ted Leo album continued to surface at this year’s CMJ, thanks to a new song and one resourceful audience member.
The clip captures Leo performing “One Polaroid a Day,” as part of an acoustic set at the MSNBC.com Digital Cafe. Although he has said to Stereogum before that mid-‘80s hardcore will be “well represented” in his follow-up to 2007’s Living with the Living, Leo showcased his softer, Tyranny of Distance-era self as he relented over a lack of spontaneity.

Leo’s still-untitled album and Matator debut is tentatively set for a March 2010 release.
