Watch Weezer Perform as Insects on Yo Gabba Gabba!

Hangin’ out with kids, playing in tall grass and dressing like a giant, purple spider. With any other band, we might be a little surprised. But this is Weezer we’re talking about; honestly, we’re surprised this scene didn’t play out before now.

Regardless, Weezer jumped into the set of Yo Gabba Gabba!, Nick Jr’s surrealist children’s show, to perform an original ditty called “All My Friends are Insects.” You can check out the performance, to air next year, right here.

With all the Weezer ridiculousness popping up lately, it almost shocks us to write this, but: The song sounds pretty fun. There. We said it.
