Damon Gough, AKA: Badly Drawn Boy, is confirmed to compose the music for an upcoming U.K. made-for-TV film.
The next/sixth LP for the perpetually-skullcapped singer-songwriter, Is There Nothing We Can Do, will also serve as the soundtrack for The Fattest Man in Britain, as NME reports. The film, out in December with the album, is directed by comedienne Caroline Aherne and stars Timothy Spall, who plays Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter films.
Earlier this decade, author Nick Hornby handpicked Gough to create the soundtrack for the film adaptation of his About a Boy. Gough’s last studio effort was inspired by Bruce Springsteen, and aptly titled Born in the U.K.
