Band of Horses, Tom Morello, BRMC, More Fight Cancer

Nobody likes cancer. Especially when it affects kids.

That’s why acts as diverse as Band of Horses, Shirley Manson (of Garbage) and Sea Wolf have banded together with the Pablove Foundation for a benefit concert to raise money for youth cancer.

The shindig goes down Sat., Nov. 21 at Avalon in Hollywood, Calif. Tickets are a cool $35, and VIP passes are $65.

The Pablove Foundation is named after Pablo Castelaz, a six-year-old victim of a bilateral Wilms’ Tumor, and was founded by his family to fight against such maladies on both the national and local levels.

Participating acts include, in addition to those previously mentioned, Tom Morello, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tom Gabel of Against Me!, Butch Walker, Jarrod Gorbel of The Honorary Title, Charlotte Martin and an unnamed special guest, all of whom will be playing special, stripped-down sets. If you’re in the area, this is the place to be.
