60th Anniversary Peanuts Look-A-Like Contest Ending Today

To celebrate Peanuts’ 60th Anniversary of colorful comic strips and, not to mention, a couple memorable holiday cartoon specials, the daughter of creator Charles Schultz is hosting an online character look-a-like contest that will make winners out of those with the most striking resemblance to the Peanuts cast.

Today is the final day to register submissions, which can be sent to PeanutsPhotoContest.com. Contestants can submit photos of themselves, their children or even K-9 Snoopy look-a-likes.

The grand prize winner gets a free trip for four to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. Five second prize winners will receive an assortment of Peanuts DVDs and goodies, while 10 third-placers will win a mini pre-lit Christmas tree stocked with Peanuts ornaments.

The contest website took the liberty to name a few celebrity look-a-likes, including _Entourage_’s Debi Mazar as Lucy, Usher as Franklin, Michael Cera as Linus, Mike Rowe as Pigpen, Tina Fey as Marcie and Simon Pegg as the good man himself, Charlie Brown.
