We told you they were a band to watch. And on Feb. 2, 2010, they’ll be a band readily available for you to hear as well—The Soft Pack will release their self-titled, debut album on Kemado Records.
Formerly called The Muslims, but changed due to fan heckling and ignorant comments, The Soft Pack plays elemental, melodic guitar rock like a grimier take on The Strokes. Without a proper album, the band’s already garnered a fair amount of attention—they took on Phoenix’s “Fences” on the band’s remix album and toured with Franz Ferdinand and The Breeders.
